On January 21, 2026, the inspector for initial military training of the Defense Affairs Department of the Saryarka District of Astana city, reserve colonel Zhylkybayev Esentai Zharkynbayevich, conducted an informational and motivational lesson for students of grades 10–11 on the topic "Admission to Military Educational Institutions".
During the lesson, the procedures and requirements for admission to higher military educational institutions were explained in detail. In addition, based on the following principles:
- "The Motherland begins with the family,"
- "With land you are strong, with language you are alive,"
- "A person who does not know their language, history, and traditions cannot protect their Motherland,"
students received spiritual and patriotic education.
The event was attended by third-year cadets of a higher military educational institution who arrived from Almaty city for the winter holidays:

— Sagiev Amir Kairatuly.
They answered questions of interest from the students.
