As part of the Natural Sciences Week at our school, biology teachers organized a unique and meaningful event — "STEM World: Biology and Innovation"
Objectives:
To increase students' interest in biology
To connect biology with STEM fields
To develop creative and research skills
Three teams of students from grades 9–11 participated in the event, testing their knowledge and skills across four stations.
Station 1 — Bioengineering (Genetics)
9th-grade students built DNA models and explored the world of genetics.
Station 2 — Environmental Engineering (Water Purification System)
10th-grade students proposed effective methods for purifying contaminated water and demonstrated environmental responsibility.
Station 3 — Biomechanics (Robotic Hand Design)
11th-grade students combined engineering thinking with biology to present innovative ideas.
This event not only provided knowledge but also increased students' interest in science and inspired them for the future!
